The NASW/Texas Chapter office needs a full time Administrative Assistant to provide skilled support services to staff and members. Requires knowledge of English, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Requires a general knowledge of office policies, practices, and procedures. Knowledge and experience with computers, Microsoft Office Professional, data bases, social media, and other common software. High School degree required. Associate's degree or college experience preferred.
Requires experience in using general office equipment, and typing skills of 45 to 60 words per minute. Must have good organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be able to function in a fast-paced environment. Requires a pleasant telephone voice, manner, and excellent customer service skills. The school-based clinics are located in Pasadena, Alief, and Aldine ISDs. Successful candidates must have an MSW and LCSW, at least three years of work experience, excellent interpersonal skills, an interest in measurable outcomes, and the ability to work autonomously.
